Screen Printing
Screen printing offers vibrant, precise designs using high quality solvent and UV inks. The inks are cured at temperatures of around 180–200°C, and we can accommodate up to two colours per design.
To ensure clean results, the artwork requires a 10mm seam or gap to prevent smudging of wet ink, although our designers can offer guidance on how best to achieve this without compromising on your design. There is also a seam around the top and bottom of the glass vessel, and we provide printable area diagrams to guide your design. Screen printing works best on cylindrical vessels. Depending on the machine used, semi-automatic pieces are cured in a heat tunnel, while fully automatic pieces are UV-cured for efficiency.

Decorating both round and square glass containers
Screen printing involves pressing ink through a stencilled mesh screen which allows the flexibility to print onto both cylindrical and flat surfaces, the print can be applied with high precision even to the smallest vessels with tiny text, making it the ideal decoration technique for glass containers used by a variety of industries
